Comms

Post by robert090993 »

VOIP in game is a bit unrealistic, so, i think that having a small delay on the comms and putting a bit of static in it may be cool, just a little idea, thanks guys

EVerything regarding VOIP is not possible, mumble would be the only alternative to do so.

I found this sentence quite funny and since this is a war game forum I will put it here. No offense to the french just a good laugh.

Play with TG Startrekkern :D his mike is plenty distorted :)

but yeah VOIP is hardcoded, i.e. not alterable.

tbh though, player's mics etc do tend to provide some static etc anyway.

Most of VOIP is hardcoded we can't change anything. Mumble is your best bet. I do recall a TS plugin that would add realistic static and set clicks but thats about it.
