installion problems

hey i NEEEEEEED help, my 1.5 patch doesn't open, also i downloaded .87 core and levels, and they do the same thing obviously my computer i need some help to fix it pllleeeeeeeasee!

It can take a long time for the installer window to show up.
Clicking on the installer button again will start
ANOTHER installer and
will take a looong time.
Have him defrag the hard drive and reboot.
Then start the installer
ONCE and wait.
Don't do anything else.
If your running Vista with UAC on
watch the toolbar for it.
(Sometimes you don't get a pop up window when UAC asks for permission to run the installer,
instead you see a tab in the toolbar or system tray.).
Your cousin should see UAC or the installer for 'core' in under 10 minutes.
'Levels' installer in 5 or so.
