JDAM just needs to be tweaked. Currently if it was possible to choose between the two the JDAM would only we used if there was a need for epic smoke grenade :lol:

Maybe JDAM should magically spawn more after explosions witch are soundless and without any visual effect but kill the people around so they can't hide in buildings or in a ditch just under the explosion.

I support giving more indirect capabilities to the commander, definitely.

More Area Attacks please. Area attacks can break stale-mates and generally alter the game in exciting ways. This idea is good.

Well, how about just sending in a-10s and f-16s to bomb them to oblivion?

I don't think the commander needs any more area attacks. With the new UAV and just commanding in general (something many people overlook) the commander has got his hands full. I do agree with the option of either JDAM or Artillery though, but before this is implemented the JDAM needs a change. Although maybe going against my statement at the start of this post, it would be interesting for something that you could do instead of a mortar strike.
