The same problem, it also affects the vanilla, so I think that the problem somewhere at EA side.

I think it's the main server, because my connection got closed and after that I couldn't connect any more, waited 5 mins but still the same "connecting with the server" message.

Same Problem: "error connecting to the server"

I cant connect to the EA Acount Server with Project Reality and with BF2 Vanilla. Maybe this is just a temporary problem.

when i try to log into either Bf2 or PR it will come up with an error saying " there was an error reading from the server", iv only tryed re-starting my computer and router. should i try re-installing bf2 and/or PR?

I believe this is the same issue being discussed in this thread.

Spearhead has come up with a work-around.

Spearhead;1148459']The servers are up and the problem does not lie with the individual players. The cause is most likely on the side of GameSpy. If you know the server IP addresses you can join them manually until the problem is fixed.

Hey guys...

I'm only seeing three servers in deployment and NONE in training. Filters are still the same, saw tons last night.

What gives? In the server I'm in, 4 or 5 others are having the same issue.

Any ideas?

Other than Spearhead's adive,u could try a boot,reboot your PC+your router at the same time...

I can only see 20 servers, number doesnt change, but servers do if i resfresh/restart the game...

For some reason PR spy does not come up with the same results as game-monitor. While the former only displayed 2 servers with players, the latter had at least 6 populated servers in the list. Normally I'd use PR Spy, too. But while this problem existed game-monitor seems to be more comprehensive.
