With my weapon jamming system pretty much done, and Bamyan well on its way, i started this map as a way of developing a new theatre for the USMC and another environment for me to test my mapping skills. Simply doing one project is a bit boring so i'm working through two. Bamyan has priority though.ChiefRyza wrote:Well I have a map planned where I was going to use Harrier support so I guess it would be a pretty good placeholder. Re: [Map] Behind Enemy Lines [WIP]
Hmmm well some fundamental flaws with basing a map on that... There are 3 armies involved. So that won't work. Its basically just a giant stand off between the serbs and bosnians... Thats no fun for any1.. Theres a reason they never made a BF1914...CroCop_PR wrote:So that people know...though this vid does not give it justice

Re: [Map] Behind Enemy Lines (4km) [WIP]
I know this aint in production yet (and if i understood correctly it will take a while till it starts) but i have 2 questions:
1. Are you going to use a real place from maps for ref?
2. If this is going to be a carrier map and the above question is a YES where are you going to place the map? I am asking this since BiH barely has any coast and its access to sea is in a pretty much screwed position for a map

Re: [Map] Behind Enemy Lines (4km) [WIP]
Still looking at doing this. I'm looking at redoing the terrain with GEO2 and DEM. Now that silent eagle is out, i've sort of lost the new theatre aspect i was looking for. May continue work on this at some point. At the moment my 2 NZDF maps are priority though. This map will probably stay around as a testing ground for some new mapping techniques i am yet to try (T-Paint, GEO2 and DEM etc)
