The old one definately brings back good memories of versions past! I like the new one too but to me it sounds slightly more like a map theme.
On the subject of musical themes and I don't meen to shit on someones hard work but the victory themes have gotten old. They sound to 60's stoner guitarish. We need some fresh, "I want to win to hear it!", 2010ish victory funk!
I also miss the chinese map bf2 remixed techno theme.
ANd shouldn't the russian maps have somthing more russiany. They sound a little chinesey! and like I'm playing a different game.

Re: Project Reality Menu Music
I'm kind of torn, the old music I like, but at the time, I didn't have a headset, so all it said to me was:"I'm an awesome game/mod, with awesome music, that you will suck at playing because you'll have no headset, and you will annoy the "pros"(I did, and I DID, lol)
The new music was "in effect" when I finally got a usb headset, and it is very cool(as a professional stage/studio musician, I appreciate the work that goes into composition, arranging, and recording), and I will be putting some of those tunes(especially Alkalai's "Heavy Resistance", my personal favorite) on my ipod shuffle when I finally get it back, lol.
It would be cool if the original "old" theme could be reincorporated into PR, maybe in a retro-map release.....

They both can get very repetitive. So your argument is invalidated sir!

This seems more fitting but maybe too hardcore for some.

Re: Project Reality Menu Music
Just so everyone knows, there'll be more new music in 0.9. There'll specifically be new menu music as well.
