Re: windows 7 bf2/pr
Make sure that you have patched the game correct and you have latest drivers.
I'm fine with Win7 Ultimate, GTX 280, 190.62 driver.
No compatibility tweaks required.
patch 1.50

@patty_maynnaise
Had the same issue after patching 1.50 and 0.874
The only way to solve has been complete uninstall, delete BF2 folder from User, clean registry and reinstall BF2, (1.41), 1.50 and then full PR0.874 (+Alt-Tab fixes)
Edit 2009-09-12: Setting/Editing the Refresh Rate didn't work for me

Re: windows 7 bf2/pr
Ive been using windows 7 with the latest build for the past 2 weeks and im loving it !
PR works with no problems , your best bet to actually solve this problem is somewhat like what they suggested eariler , unistall everything related to PR and BF2 . restart and install everything from scratch !
update your graphic card drivers and run the game as an admin ...

Re: windows 7 bf2/pr
I have been running Win 7 for over a Year now in total, and apart from the early PB problems, have has no issue's with any Gaming at all - including PR/BF2 .
It must be your PC - or set up, but its not Win 7 I can tell you that mate.

Ye Win7 works fine with BF2/PR
I have Build 7100 64-bit, before installing PR, make sure windows has done all updates and make sure you have all your drivers updated.
And then install BF2/PR and punkbuster.

Same here, PR and Win7 Ultimate x64 Build 7600 works flawlessly together.
Also, I'd turn off the UAC.

I'm all new to the Project Reality mod and I have just installed v0.874 client(core). My problem is that when I try to launch I get this error message saying ".../pr.exe is not a valid Win32 application".
Currently I'm running on 32 bit win 7 rc with bf patch 1.5.

Verify the integrity of the setup files using this guide: https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f360-g ... ost11501652ndLieutenant wrote:I'm all new to the Project Reality mod and I have just installed v0.874 client(core). Thanks for your suggestions guys. I retraced my steps and realised that I had mixed up and used the downloader and not downloaded the files separately which I first attempted but gave up. So I tried to run the downloader a second time and then I could launch PR.
My new problem is that every time I load a training map PR crashes when the map is loaded =(.
