What a necro! Blood in game never added anything, and having it certainly won't be beneficial. Are people really that violent that they need blood/guts in every shooter they play?

If blood could appear only underneath totally dead soldiers or vice versa underneath still dying soldiers then it would be usefull for medics to tell who they can revive, obviously anything less subtle is not possible in game really so unfortunately medics tend to ignore everyone I find presently even walking over you

Reason why bullets dont draw blood is this is a game, a hit does not mean a kill or even any damage to that player because of netcode differences.
Blood or dust is a local effect but the kill is decided by the server so they took out blood to stop whining about lag and so on which is in every game not conducted over a lan afaik.
Dust is more ambiguous as is the nature of the game

There is no possible way you could include realistic blood effects with out being pretty graphic. Anyone who has been in combat or has had experience with trauma injuries will back me up on this. This is a game it is supposed to be fun, and to some extent family friendly. I see no need to add blood in any capacity what so ever.

Agreed. Seen blood, a lot of blood, both first hand and in rather unfortunate video shots...never does it "puff" or "drip splat" like in games and movies.

Seeing insides come out is never fun, even in a game. Maybe I'm weird.

If I want blood(which I DON'T, really) I'll play Source....but I play PR to get away from the Source crowd, which usually, is pretty juvenile, IMHO. But that doesn't seem to stop the same racist-hostile-noobery that PR servers seem to be filling up with these days....guess I need to find a clan....again...
