well now i know an automatic knife is:

-Spring operated
-illegal
-fun
-not "stabs people by pushing button"- type of knife as i thought, you actually have to do something...

Personal defense, opening boxes, trying to look badass and ending up cutting yourself, etc. Same as a butterfly knife. :razz:

I got a Ka-Bar from an ooooolllldddd Marine. Its really fun, still in good shape too.

Interesting. I'm going to get a hold of some of my friends in TRADOC and see if I can't get a more in depth answer to if assault training is conducted at any level.
