Regarding the SVD: Ive read that after WWII they assigned one soldier with a Dragunov to every russian squad.
Yeah, but I mean after WWII? 70 years have passed, I'll admit I don't know too much about the Russians and the weapons they use; but I would think they'd use a more modern rifle than the SVD. Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Conventional Russian forces continue to use the SVD.

Specialist is the guy with "Sphere" helmet. Writing on it means "for the Special Forces!!"
Why skirmish maps become more buggy and unbalanced from release to release?!
skirmish <3. nothing else but rifle, mates, mumble and skill.

More guns and bullets make bad guys go away faster,
which in turn makes everyone in the area safer.

Nice touch with Spetsnaz for Rifleman Specialist. But why do the grenadier and Anti-air have a different camouflage?

i dont like the spetsnatz guy in there tbh, its like old pr when we had spec ops guys(i wouldnt think its realistic either). i think a regular rifleman load out (kit model wise) with the bandanna (like the sniper) would be sweet to give him that more veteran feel. A lot of russian soldiers are seen with bandannas

Are they issued these new helmets already?

Heres an awesome thread on it
Modern Russian helmet - Military Photos

I like the current helmet that is modeled (Page 3 on shows a ton in use and none seem to be standard)

[R-DEV]Nosferatu is our Military Adviser for the Russian Forces, if you have any specific questions regarding the kits he would be the man to ask.
If my job had been to pick the things that I thought were cool and give them to the Russians, it would have been a lot easier.
