I have a question

Does the F16, or ANY of the player-controlled planes have the JDAM in Project Reality?

Technically, yes, since it's only a targeting module mounted on the 500 lbs ordnance IIRC (it guides itself to a laser designation).

But one attached to a 2000 lbs bomb akin to the area attack, no.

JDAMs use GPS?

Laser designated bombs are Paveways.

Mk 83s and Mk 84s are sure big.

I meant that ingame they guide themselves to the laser designation.

Jets in PR share a mixture of JDAM equipped bombs and Paveways, but in practice they function exactly the same.

JDAMs use GPS?

Yes, though the next generation JDAMs (LJDAM) uses both laser and GPS, to overcome the current JDAMs inability to hit moving targets.

IIRC the LJDAM is being tested and has not been fielded yet, but if PR is set in the near future, then I guess it wouldn't be completely unrealistic for it to be in game.
