mine:

i was in muttrah as mec and i was on mosq roof typing to a guy on another roof where i saw some enemies.
when a littlebird popped up over the rooftop and opend fire on me.

what i typed:
'enemies in ohcrap'
he said:
'where the hell is ohcrap?''littlebird at mosque roof killing ...(he started laughing)'

i had a oh **** moment when our squad was crossing the road and my key board/mouse froze for a while then a Chinese truck ran me over right while i was typing so i typed in oh **** when i heard/saw it coming

Some of my moments, well...

When I drove a HMMVV down a hill too fast to stop for a mine I saw 1 fraction of a second before.

When I see the light of a tank firing a shell in my squad.

When I was "fighting" agains a MEC APC as an Officer in Jabal Al Burj... It was actually funny, I was in a little "ditch" (like EXTREMELY LITTLE) and the APC couldn't aim one inch lower to hit me... all the bullets wizzed passed my proned body. The APC also tried to run over me. With no success, he left.



Lots of other moments, but well... can't remember all of them!

The "oh ****" moment when my squad is capping a hard-won flag battle and the one behind falls to the enemy and my CO makes me go all the way back from NW to South of Fools Road counts or not?

I was in an armor formation of about three tanks, two APCs and one AA for cover.
This was on Kashan Desert as the MEC.
We were moving across the desert in formation, checking sectors, scanning for threats, etc.

I don't remember all the details of how we got distracted, but this one Bradley pops up over a hill and kills our AA with an excellent shot from his TOW missile.
Well, needless to say, all the other T-72s and BMPs rape him, but now we're wthout Anti-Air cover.

But we decide to push on to North Village, our next objective.

About 2 minutes later, I see an A-10 moving North at about 800 meters up.

The other tanks spot it as well, and even though we have no AA cover, we don't think it's too big of a threat.

One of the tank crew says "Yeah, someone would really need to lase us if they were going to take out our tanks. Most pilots don't know how to find targets by themselves."

Literally Right after he says this, I look north and I see an American prone on a hill near a supply truck, looking at us through binoculars

You can guess the rest.

Gunning in a Havok on Kashan, we were lured into North Village and I spotted 3 mobile AA, 2 tanks, and a Bradley. Don't really have to say much more, the lock tone went off and flares went everywhere. We dodged some AA and tank rounds before one finally hit us.

The chat filled with quotes of hatred toward us just because we had been terrorizing them for a good part of the hour. Should have followed Admiral Ackbar's advice when we followed a black hawk in...

One time I threw a nade at a window, and of course being it PR and we have deviation for everything, it hit the windowsill and bounced all over the room and asploded in my lap.

And don't we all get that oh **** moment when we are in a tank stand off and you know the other tank has a one hit advantage on you...then you just wait for the puff of smoke and the DEAD screen...

this was an "oh ****" moment for me and a tank. ok so I was a squad member on kashan on the usa side on the mountain east of south village. we had 1 guy with a hat but we had to use it wisely. of course one of our guys got spotted by the t-72 so 2 tanks came closing in. the tanks climbed the hill we were on and we were in dangerous firing range so our hat guy fired a successful shot and killed one t-72, but one was left.

since we had no air support and our hat guy dead, the t72 shelled everything visible and eventually our firebase went down but we still had a rally not far away. I found a crate by the firebase which was lucky because I havent seen it before so I try requesting a hat but it was unavailable. I didnt want a lat because it wasnt enough to kill the tank so I request a combat engineer and thankfully, it got located to my feet but I was doubtful that I could do anything with it.

one minute later, 4 squad members were killed so it was just me and another guy. just as the other guy was being gunned down, I placed an anti tank mine right underneath me behind a small ledge to hide from the t72. I counted 30 seconds and I popped up and put a nine round burst and kept standing until the t72 turned his barrel, I was making sure he saw me.

he did turn his barrel, then I quickly went prone and since the t72 didnt have a clear shot, I knew the driver of the t72 would try to run me over so, he drives after me and runs over the mine. in the chat, the driver says "omg stupid suicide guy!"

so yes this was a wtf moment for both of us

Followed by the roar of a 1000-pound LGB hitting our group of Armor.

One damaged BMP made it back to main alive, that was it.

Another "oh ****" moment, which I'm sure we've all had, is firing at some enemies on a .50 cal when you suddenly hear the click of emptiness. ??:

200m from the carrier.

Mouse pulls the glitch where it would shoot to the side of the screen if I were out of game.

Helo does a Half barrel roll in a slit second.

I am upside down about 25 m off the surface of the water.

I was an Insurgent on Basrah and I just respawned so I was heading in the direction of my squad leader.

Well, I got into a little ravine and stopped for a second to use the bathroom. I got back started moving and I come up on the hill and see a Huey sitting there. I ducked back down and hid while it took off.

About 10 seconds later and entire squad came right next to the hill. I had a 5 minute gun battle with all 6 members and I ended up killing a few of them more than once. I didn't die - they did!

It was my "oh ****" moment.

Pulling up too much in a trans huey. Worse at 100 alt.

Playing as a spotter for our A10 on Kashan awhile back.

I can't remember the exact words but it was something like:

Me: "Uh...Enemy tank West of North Bunker....make that two tanks."

Pilot: "Can you give me a co'ord and a lase?"

Me: "Sure, hold on." *lases target* "Target lased. They are close together, one bomb should be enough to kill 'em both."

Pilot: " Roger...uh.........*garble*"

Me: "I didn't catch that. What did you say?"

Pilot: "I don't have bombs."

Me: "Roger, switch to missiles." *relases*

Pilot: "Nah, I got to go in about five minutes...I'm gunna crash the plane into 'em."

Oh ****.

He did crash the plane, but he managed to fly just over the tank and crash about 75m behind the tank. I facepalmed.

omg hahaha I laughed my *** off at when he said hes gonna crash the plane into them hahaha I cant stop laughing

Fools Road on the Russian side, Joined a small squad on TG, SL tells me to take a logistics truck back to main (From near the center of the map) and re-supply it. I make it back to main in one piece, re-supply it, and head out along the road I just came from. Somehow, when I was at main, an enemy FOB was built in the middle of the road, which I didn't see till I came around a corner. I dodged and RPG by swerving in the ditch, and then get blown up by 2 HMG's. This all happened in about 3 seconds.


I later got revenge with my squad, we stalked the FOB for nearly 10 min, and took it out.

Another "oh ****" moment, which I'm sure we've all had, is firing at some enemies on a .50 cal when you suddenly hear the click of emptiness. ??:

happens to me all the time... or overheat. makes me pissed.

If you were at TG you would've been kicked for suicide tactics.

But well, if you can't kill it, fight dirty or it will kill ya.






Another oh **** moment: When my squad in Fallujah West actually ran out of ammo. Literally. All the shots had been fired, most grenades had been tossed. All kits disappeared in the surroundings. We used all ammo bags available, living and dead people.

APC won't give us ammo ("too hot" - my squad cleared the area before the last "click" was heard).

What we did? Moved towards a supply truck (which was right next to the mosque). For some reason, we had 0 resistance from point. When we reached the supply crate, (we were blessed the whole round) the truck had SUPPLIES!!! WE ALL CELEBRATE!!

As we drop a crate, 14 soldiers (6 of my squad and other 8 random people) started feeding off from that very own supply crate... we were so happy. We cheered. We screamed. We smiled.

10 seconds after the supply crate is dropped, guess what.

KABUM!!!!!!!

Actually not, that was a joke (funny eh?)

Well, 10 seconds after we dropped the supply crate and 14 people around it, we almost had a heart attack when that supply crate full of goodies blew up in front of us. Well, guess that supply crate didn't have anything more than a couple of mags for 14 lead-thirsty guys!

Can't remember what happened later. But it was the first - and only 'til present - that my squad actually ran out of ammo. Literally.

"Oh ****" was in our minds and hearts the whole bloody time.



BLACK- Our aprox. path.
RED- firefights
ORANGE- FOB (which was raped 3 times, lost our supply crates )
BLUE- Officially, 60%+ of the squad had no ammo. All ammo bags expended. Hideout taken out north of that faithful moment.
Yello- Blessed, we survived the whole way.
Brown (?)- Supply truck!

That was like a month ago or so, so I don't remember everything exactly, but that's roughly a good aproximation.

Just had another "oh ****!" moment.

Our SL decided to rush Muttrah and take the NE flag. Well, we setup an outpost there waiting for the Americans to come by. Well, they did.

We watched as our APC squad sat at one of the southern flags doing nothing as 2 USMC APC's rolled in on us and literally circled around us until we all died multiple times.

Finally, they left and we got back to the same spot.. but a griefer decided it was too much trouble and TK'ed my entire squad and destroyed out outpost. So, I am the only one left on the roof of a building with choppers flying back and forth above me and a squad of Marines walking around below not knowing I am there.

Then I got hit by a sniper.

About two mouth ago , when i played in ghost train as chinese , the SL decide to assault the british from the fall on SE by surprise .

While i was just picked the fallen specialist kit , it's my job to throw the hook and make sure the path is good to go . After many time of trying , when i finally made a good throw and almost reach the top and just reach the top.

Suddenly i got push backward (by the water maybe),the"oh ****"words came though my mind , and fall down from top and got killed.

MEC inf sneaks up on me as i snipe some guys, he has a knife and i see him, we end up in a knife fight and he pushes me off the building! lol.
