I installed BF2. (DVD BattleField Collection Version)
I updated to 1.4.1, then to 1.5.
I then installed Special Forces. (I know that I should have installed it before, but fore some reason I did it back wards.)
I checked and it is still version 1.5.
I installed the core data for Project reality .87.
I installed the .87 levels.
I installed the PR Single Player core.
I install the Single Player Levels.
I open PR Single Player, and load a 64 player map. As the progress bar moves it says it is maximizing sharers.
Every so often the screen would click, and go blank (On my computer it usually means the game crashed/ or the video settings where changed, and it had a slight glitch.)
At after it was done loading and during the Verification stage, (Or between 60-80% done on the loading part) the game crashed and the video card popped up saying there was an error, and my screen screen reverted to 800x600 video settings. (I couldn't find the error report. It just asked if I wanted to submit/send the error information, or not. It never told me what was wrong.)
I try again, this time with only a 16 player map, but the exact same thing happens. The game and video card crashes. I checked the PR options settings and they where all on low.
I've never had any of these problems in BF2 before, so I don't think it has anything to do with it.
Also after installing the PR Single Player, it replaced some of the map descriptions of the original BF2 maps. it now only shows the codeing.
If you like I could get some pictures.

Re: Single Player Crashing
Ok, I tried to play a Single player level again, this time takeing pictures and listing all of the weird stuff.
1) Here are the settings:

2) The map:

3) What happened:
After finishing loading the level it shows the Squade Assignment button on the bottom right corner of the screen:

The courser disappears, and the music will occasionally get stuck and repeat the same two seconds of notes over and over. This music will do this for about 20seconds to a minute.
Then the screen will go blank (black) but the courser will appear, and can be moved around like normal.
I click escape, hoping that it will go back to the main menu. The music keeps playing, but now I get the sound of rain. (I though it might be rain from the level, but the level didn't seem like a rainy level.)
The screen is blank, the courser is there, but the music stopped (It might have been a silent part durring the loop) but still the sound of rain drops.
The music stats up again, and eventually the rain sound stops.
I tried clicking where I though there would be buttons.( i.e. on the main menu and on the load screen)
I pushed escape again. Nothing.
I pushed Ctr-Alt-Delete.
After ending the BF2 process, the game stops and an AVI (My video card) window pops up: (At the same time the screen is now running on 800x600 resolutions.

Re: Single Player Crashing
Use a higher resolution, PR doesn't work on 800x600.
Should fix the problem.

Re: Single Player Crashing
I switched the resolutions in game up to what I use as standard resolutions, it still crashed, but this time it didn't revert to the 800x600 resolutions. That's good.
I Googled it, and found several people have similar problems with other games, but nobody seems to have a solution.......
