Transport-technical/Rocket strike.

Post by Pronck »

The Insurgents in PR have only technicals with .50 guns on the back, is it possible to make an transport version of it, with the possiblity to drop big bags of ammo. Because the insurgents don't only use pick-ups with .50cal on the back.

And another suggestion:
Since a while the taliban use rockets to attack NATO-Bases, is it possibile to make it an asset for the taliban commander but less accurate then the JDAM?

mh they allready have mortars ... what kind of difference would make a rocket attack?

The ability to drop a small ammo bag/crate would be very nice.

Here's a question for the soldiers: Do the Taliban -actually- still use technicals with guns on the back like we have now?

I love that idea. It would be very useful for the Insurgents.

Taliban and insurgents are two largely different factions.

technicals could drop ammo boxes in earlier versions of pr, but it got removed. i guess the western faction armor fanboys didn't like to get shot by rpgs able to reload from awkward locations...

Yeah we need more technical versions, for example: Transport, MG, one with SPG9

I like the fact that insurgents do not get ammo drops. Not only does it encourage hit and run tactics. But, it also prevents the spammyness of an RPG or SA7 gunner just sitting in one spot (that is not a cache) and launching lots of rockets.

Is it realistic? No. Does it create a more enjoyable play enviroment? Hell yeah. And i say this as someone who really enjoys playing as Opfor. It's actually counter-productive for insurgents because it takes away incentive to stay around and defend caches.

On the topic of the unarmed technical, it would be nice if that thing could get an upgrade. It performs pretty poorly at the moment. I mean it doesn't even go striaght, you have to keep turning back and forth, alignment is off or something. It drives like a 4 wheeled dirtbike.

i like the idea of the transport techinical there is already a transport but its very easy to flip over and it suck ALOT.... we need more on the maps just for simple transport

I think it would be realistic, and more to fun for the insurgency ,

One it would help in the placing of mine field’s, it would allow the resupply of rocket's, encourage hit and run tactic’s. yeah this would be a real plus.
