Sorry to up this very old thread but I searched for an answer couldn't find any.

Same problem here; all my screenshots are black 0KB (through Users/Documents/Battlefield 2/Screenshots). All my drivers are up-to-date, I can make PunkBuster screenshot via the command (the resolution is a bit whacky though). I tried all the settings from low to high, same deal.

I try the modified bf2.exe (in this thread https://www.realitymod.com/forum/f27-pr ... ssues.html) to see whether it was a ram problem or not and I wasn't able to start the game (using the modified.exe and my DVD). I am under Vista 32, I can play in PR 0.87, I have no crash or whatsoever, it is just this screenshot issue.

Thanks.

I would suggest a third party program like xfire or fraps for taking the screenshots. When I use the in game screenshot it pauses the game for a second to process. When I use the screenshot feature in xfire there is no delay plus it hosts any screenshots you choose to upload when you exit the game.

No idea about why it would not function correctly in game. Are you using the default print screen button? Have you tried switching it to another button?

Like I told you, I made a deep search to be sure not to be the I-did-make-a-search-but-didn't-find-a-topic noob and the admin link something from 2 days ago lol.

I use the "Prt Scrn" button and I changed it, nothing.

Thank you for your answers and the links, I will see if it works.

X-Fire works great for me though I must admit that my computer slows down a little bit but it is not a pain. I will use the program only for the screenshot.

However, just by curiosity, I wonder what is the problem with the 0kb screenshot, another mistery lol.

Cheers.
