Every time I click on the pr.exe it immediately fails and comes up with the whole "pr.exe has stopped working" thing. I've been reading the message boards, and have tried different ways to fix the problem. The most recent thing was COMPLETELY uninstalling and reinstalling BF2, then PR. Yes, I did the installation properly. I've even read through the thread on pr.exe problems, and still nothing has changed. I experiment, end up removing the game, reinstall it, and the same problem occurs. I decided to paste the error log so you guys could possibly understand my problem. Heck, I don't. Thanks for the help guys, preciate it.

i did a quick google on your .09 problem, and it seams like it just said that it can not find the file, so what i would do (you mostlickley have) is make sure thhat .net is patched up all the way, and see if the pr icon leads to the game file.

I have .NET Framework 2.0 SDK - ENU installed already. Then I installed .NET Framework 3.5 SP1. PR still bombs. Also, I checked the PR shortcut on my desktop. It says this:

Target: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe"

Start In: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr"

I followed those routes, and they lead right to the .exe. Now, when I looked at the actual .exe in the PR folder, it said this:

Location: C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods

I still don't see the problem at hand.

i followed this same rout just now on my computer and the location for my exe is
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr
try to move the location into the mod\pr folder, and lets see if that fixes it =D

I was mistaken, the location information did say /pr at the end, therefore everything seems to be in order. I have a hunch that I screwed up on the whole .Net situation. I don't understand it very well. I have .NET Framework 2.0 SDK - ENU installed. Pretend that I do not have the newest 3.5 stuff installed, just the 2.0 SDK -ENU. What would I exactly download? If you could be so kind to display links too, I would really appreciate it. I haven't played PR in months, and want to make sure that no mistakes happen. Thanks again.

it should have attempted to install 3.5 .net framework while you installed pr, did you allow it to do that?
this post talks about framework, but i doubt thats the problem.

try to change your desktop targer to

"C:\GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\pr\pr.exe" +modPath mods/pr

and your start in to

"C:\GAMES\Battlefield 2"
