hell yeah, make it so it just snowed or there is remainder of snow, so there is an excuse not to create new winter skins (unless someone will).Beginner wrote:Very nice. Will be better with snow c|:^)

Re: [Map] Severomorsk (4km) [WIP]
this happens, somebody went for camping and needed wood for bonfire, though it should be smaller, not everybody is carrying a chainsaw for a forest tripJonny wrote: Why is there a carefully cut tree stump in the middle of a huge, untouched forest?
yeah, and if there are some high hills you can make it so forest gets less dense closer to top and higher- less fir treesDanke has already pointed out that 50% of the trees are coniferous...
heres my photo, well its not a hill, but same works for big hills, small hills are nearly same in terms of forest density

nobody takes chainsaw, just axe and sometimes handsaw and its normalJonny wrote:Who cuts down a tree for firewood? What kind of person plans enough to bring a chainsaw, but not enough to realise that they can just break off some dead branches to burn instead?
Thats like driving a long way and bringing extra fuel rather than some money to buy fuel on the journey. Its insane.
i did, just an adviceAlso, I didn't comment on density. You need some fir trees in there.

Re: [Map] Severomorsk (4km) [WIP]
I think he can try to rid of long distances in forest. You can't look into the distance in the real forest as the long distances will be cut by the trees and big bushes.(like on the first screen). So he can use the indergrowth grass, but I think it rahter difficult to do such forest.Jonny wrote:Be careful with the height of the undergrowth grass. It doesn't render at distance, and you really dont want to have people thinking that they can hide in it. If you want long grass then use the overgrowth grass with undergrowth as decoration.

Danke has already pointed out that 50% of the trees are coniferous...
And it would be great to see in town area some signboards on houses like "ГАСТРОНОМ" or
"ПАРИКМАХЕРСКАЯ"

Re: [Map] Severomorsk (4km) [WIP]
Only this time last year me and my dad went down into one of our fields to chop up a dead tree that had fallen over in the high winds mainly just for fire wood, and we are also planning on chopping down anouther dead tree (that is still standing thou) this year or next for some more firewood. Its pretty normal tbh when you have a wood fire to get as much wood as possible, far cheaper than gasJonny wrote:Who cuts down a tree for firewood?
