How to install PR ? having problems :S

well I have the bf2 on steam, and just put windows 7 professional 64 bit on.

it worked fine auto finding the dictionaries on win7 RC in where to install the files.

I installed it in steam folder/common/bf2/mod ? that where you install it? I installed it the first time but it wasn't in the mod section so I uninstalled it and deleted folders which probably didn't delete everything in registry and is why it won't install properly again now?

If I install it, it just won't launch saying there is a problem with it and the short cuts don't get put up or anything, if I go to install the levels it says core is not found.

Can someone please help with the installation process, I have core and levels, but it doesnt automatically find the installation path for me. and I might need to take delete more files to get rid of any other pr thats conflicting with it.

I would move your BF2 files out of the Steam folder into a new folder which you create:

C://Program Files(x86)/EA GAMES/PUT THE FILES HERE

Create the EA Games folder in your x86 program files and put whatever is in your steam/common for bf2 in the EA GAMES folder. Make sure to make EA GAMES all caps. Then try to run the installer. It may not be picking up the installation directory or.....you might just have to change it where to go.

kk I installed them both in bf2 folder. I try to launch it and there's a problem with pr.exe and won't launched. XD how I fix this?

Dont load up PR with BF2, Just use the PR Icon

Had no problems except one with the new windows 7...

I had to take down my second monitor...even though pr doesnt support 2 monitors.

once i removed it, it seems to work just fine...

I had the 32bit version of windows 7 ultimate.
