Game is not working on Win7 ultimate x64.
Ok my BF2 does not work. I have installed PR it does not work as well. Its updated to v1.5. When I start it, black screen appears and then dissapears back to desktop. How can i solve this damn problem. You know how it feels to not be able to play PR! why mee! whyyy. Anyways, is it because of win7?...

I'm running BF2 and PR flawlessly on Win7 Ultimate x64 RC. To get BF2 to run set it to run in Windows XP SP3 in compatibility mode + check run as Administrator in options of the BF2.exe.
For PR you might have to run it as administrator, although it runs fine on my laptop without administrator rights on it.

Re: Game is not working on Win7 ultimate x64.
I'm running BF2 and PR on Win7 Ultimate x64 retail 8GB RAM with the latest Nvidia drivers and a GTX275.
My problem is I get occasional BSOD (blue screen of death) with a Page Fault In Unpaged Area (or something to that effect).
Ive done numerous RAM tests (MEMTEST and Windows Mem test). I have relaxed timings. Still, this is the ONLY game I get BSODs in.
I think it is tied to my XFI Gaming Fatiality drivers somehow.

Realism and fun aren't mutually exclusive.
