you can never have too many insurgency maps! never! haha
but i think perhaps it's going a bit too far, with all these different factions. i saw somewhere i while back that the japs are in the works?!?
i'm hoping that someone will develop another map for the Marine Corps, preferably an Afghan one. perhaps, someone will take it upon themselves to do two versions of Sangin, one with the British Army, one with the Marines....here's hoping haha

Yes, I agree with OldBreed. The lack of USMC maps pains me, but I still love this mod! and like said before I think there are more and more Ins maps because there are not any large conventional wars going on right now for inspiration, and personally I love ins maps if they are played right.....

The taliban maps always made me either insta alt f4 or rage quit after 30mins, theyre designed for veryyy high teamwork which u cant see on pub servs (+ their shitty balance). What I hate about ins is that if ur on coalition side, u will prolly have a nice K/D but still loose, if ur on ins side, u will die allot and have the annoying bleed screen 70% of the time.
In devs we trust, so I hope they will balance and make it more interesting, and so both sides will have somewhat equal chances to win.
About AAS maps and factions, PLA rapes, I dont understand why ppl dont luv it.. USMC is my least favorite faction bcuz of their weapons, though I'd prefer it over PLA on Qwai anytime. Ppl always grab these APCs which are so easy to take down on that map. On some maps, heavy assets (when u have many of them) are like traps left by devs, cuz theyre so clumsy, easy to ambush, easy to hide from and cost allot of tickets, plus the fact that most apcs are used like tanks...
Talking about maps like Qwai, Fools Road & Kozelsk, where the side with the heavy assets already has better weaponry; QBZ rapes M4 in CQB, and is equal to it.. in non CQB
Irons AK74 is better than AK47 (and that short AK thingie..), both in CQB and accuracy wise, + the russian irons rifleman kit has 3 F1 nades compared to one anti light vehicle nade. So its like the ticket-costy heavy assets are balancing stuff up in favor for the other faction 
Last thing: Jungle and Forest maps require more coordination and favor the sneaky ones like me, luv those maps!

Taliban are so easy to play IMO Just make a squad with a medic in it and you wont have the bleed screen + you can die as many times as you want, but the americans cant so the point is to kill as many americans as possible even tho you die yourself... Edit: About Iran, Syria etc etc, Imo, its a waste of time, better leave them all as mec for now, and have the devs work on other unique factions.
