PR finally has some competition in the reality gaming scene...

Post by Artnez »

Looks like this game is taking it to the next level. I wish the PR devs would have more access to the BF2 engine source so we could implement some of these features :(

I chuckled.

I don't think the bf2 engine can handle something as intense as procedurally generated paperwork though.
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

The only winning move is not to play. Insurgency, that is.

I don't think it's realistic in the sense PR advances.
They might do things as they said in the report, with the supply truck not being accepted as the order was messed up, although that and similar things are just gamish not PR realistic.

I would love to know how long it took them to make that "mod" they showed in the clip just for a 3 minute video, that's dedication i guess :)

Well, from seeing some game play videos, there are occasions where characters are sitting about idly chatting -- from there it took them very little effort to dub new dialog and super impose subtitles.

I lol'd. 0.9?

God I'd be so damn good at that game. I'll pwn all you N00Bs! Just as soon as I finish the idle chatter. Then I gotta hit the head. AND THEN I'LL PWN YOU ALL! Bwahaha.

i feel sorry to say this some of this has happened to me in pr. Once my commander decided to screw up a order and i got to drive a logistics truck halfway across kashan only to find that they needed it another 1.5 km's away.

I've also had stupid pointless chats like that waiting for orders.

I've also gotten to stare at a vast expanse of desert only to get shot by a sniper.

all and all i still think Modern warefare 3 will be epic. I mean who doesnt like paperwork. (to bad it's never gunna come out like that)
if you miss him... try, try again

Aww... I was really starting to look forward to having to answer repetitive questions about how hot it was or whether it was like Black Hawk Down. That sounded so exciting.
