e-Geforce 8800 GT 512 graphic settings on PR

I was just wondering if any one had this card and if so what are the settings you have currently when playing PR and possibly any *newer* games like COD4.

Post the rest of your specs, the card istelf is more than capable of handeling PR, just need see what the rest of your pc is..

Yeah, i have been very happy with my GT8000, it runs everything more than great. It can max out almost every game right now, but of course it very much depends on your other hardware as well.

i have a 8800GT and it pwns every game ive played (including crysis and farcry) . other specs would be good tho.

To echo the rest of these posters, I have a q6600 & 8800GT combo and just finished MW2 at full settings (1680x1050) averaging what must've been >70fps. That card will only drop below 50fps on the likes of Fallujah west in the midst of the city with 8x AA and everything maxed out.. aside from that you'll be happy sailing

Edit: Although when the stock shortage ends, can't wait to upgrade to a HD5870 + i7 [1366]

That card will do very nicely on COD4 since it has so many core clocks along with other great settings.


It would be nice if you would post your other computer parts.

Try these programs, and post screenshots from each menu.

GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility This will tell us about what graphics you have now.

This will tell us what processor, ram, and motherboard, among other settings you have.

Well, just as I thought it would. This card *should* run PR maxed out. AA was my main concern since I cannot run it, and I think its because I'm bottlenecking w/ cpu. I get horrible fps with aa on 8x, even on 4x

Abit AW8D
Intel P 4 single core ~ 2.9Ghz - (problem )
Evga 8800 GT 512
2 gb Gkill and 1 Corsair = 3gb
Maxtor 120 Gb hd
Corsair 450W PS


I just bought an Intel D dual core 2.9Ghz, and should get it today and I’m hopping this will fix the issue.

Anyway, I would have posted this in the support area but what I truly needed was some feedback from peeps that use this card with PR which you guys have provided me with

I have a Sparkle 8800GT 512 and it can run on completely high settings with about 100+ FPS.

Considering its a 2005 game and the 8800GT is a 2006ish card it runs perfect.
