keep getting kicked because of PB issues

Hey all,

I'm really new to Project Reality (and Battlefield 2) and only recently got pbsvc working to let me play BF2 online. But when I tried playing PR online I got kicked because of something to do with the "heartbeat". Now I read another post somewhere advising to uninstall PB using pbsvc and reinstalling, but this is what keeps coming up:

Watching for PnkBstrB instance change (0) TIMEOUT
Getting port for PnkBstrB FAILED
Sending version packet to PnkBstrB SENT
Receiving version from PnkBstrB TIMEOUT
Checking PnkBstrK driver status NOT FOUND

How do I fix this? Thanks a lot.

After uninstalling and reinstalling I find that PnkbstrB wont install, and now I get kicked for PnkbstrB handshake failure.

Have you used the auto installer? I too am on vista and used it to install my pb and i dont get any problems. Also running as administrator never hurts with vista.

I'm trying as Administrator and it's the same problem.
I think heartbeat was the problem at first, but now that I'm trying to reinstall PB PnkbstrB is having issues installing (and when I tried playing most recently I was kicked for a PnkbstrB handshake failure).
