Light vehicles should be stealable

Post by SomebodySomeone »

I often found myself stranded in the middle of nowhere with my squad with no transport. It's really annoying just staring at an enemy jeep and not being able to use it.

While I agree with this, because everyone has the basic knowledge to operate light skinned vehicles like cars trucks, hummers ect.

The one thing I see about realism wise is that it makes you a target for friendly fire in RL.

But it's also unrealistic not being able to take enemy light vehicles in a desperate situation.

I dont tihnk its possible, devs can only set it to vbf2 setting - in which you can drive all vehicles, or like its now only team vehicles.

I have reason to believe this is both a resuggestion and hardcoded.
Players might be hardcoded, but that sure doesn't seem to stop anybody from trying.

The only winning move is not to play. Insurgency, that is.

Yeah. Because in the middle of a conflict, you want to get into an enemy vehicle and drive around near your own troops. 'cause that'll help you survive.

Never mind the fact that if this was possible, ALL vehicles would show up grey on the minimap when not in use, and would promptly disappear from the map as soon as someone entered them... instant vehicle-radar, in other words.

Nope, this is a change that won't be reverted :)
