An additional issue with the supply depot being there is that you have to build the FOBs outside the compound, which is stupid -- I want to be able to build a firebase INSIDE where it's safe.

well the simple answer is to adjust your tactics accordinglyBloodBane611 wrote:I have been on pub matches where the MEC push to east beach, only to get raped by invincible APCs with infinite ammo. It is very hard to get a HAT into a good position on the hills when you're getting pummeled by LAVs, Hueys and infantry all the time. It's even harder to actually get an accurate shot off with the long steady time the HAT needs. It's not much to ask that the vehicle depot be moved so that the LAVs have to be in the open when repairing and gaining infinite ammo.
i was under the impression that the "reality" in "project reality" meant that it was trying to create "reality" as realistically as possible. if a beach-head is established, supplies would be flooding in like anything - it just so happens PR can't recreate this kind of "logistical endeavour" - thus a "magic well" of ammuniton resupply is something which tries to effectively recreate it.Dr2B Rudd wrote: this is project reality

so if the USMC want a ammo advantage at east beach, they can but only if they get enough supplies to it via air and apcs, not the magic well of ammo.
i'm tired of people on here whining that this or that isn't fair or balanced. play the game. deal. with. it.

The forums are meant for discussing the game. This particular forum is for suggestions to make the game better. If you don't like "whining", you don't have to read these threads.i'm tired of people on here whining that this or that isn't fair or balanced. play the game. deal. with. it.
Please, do tell what tactic I should use to kill an enemy who is repairing the very moment he gets hit? I have successfully taken out LAVs using the HAT at east beach, but it's ridiculously hard, and nearly always ends with the HAT gunner being dead as well.well the simple answer is to adjust your tactics accordingly

Go and play BF2, it sucks, deal with it. Go Play Tetris, its not interesting, deal with it, go play WoW, it has a monthly fee deal with it.

Re: Move Jabal's vehicle depot
I think there should be a repair station on each beach (East and West) but removed from the flag area to a location nearby on East beach. East beach could have it at the south end of the mountains or on the south side of the rock pile just south of the flag (but in the open like Muttrah). Part of the problem with the current Depot is that the APCs also get the cover from the walls and roof that are indestructible, making killing the APCs even harder.
Since West Beach is not as important it can be anywhere there.
