Now i understand that your sad that my chopper crashed, but if you were abit more aware of what people actually type you would have seen my message explaining that my laptop fell off my desktop ...

I also sayed !R crazy-oliver for throwing a frag granade inside a huey on the carrier and the pilot got Tked but i guess me not being able to control a huey going 550kmh in a swing while my laptop is on the ground is more noobish

I will look in to this, but from what I have read in your post here, you had a huey and crashed it, and the admin told you to go to a training server.
Not sure....seems as if the admin was trying to make sure you under stood that we do not let players that do not know how to fly, use the hueys or little birds
It sounds like this issue as you have told it to us, the admin may have kicked you for wasting an asset, or maybe the admin was receiving complants about you wasting the asset, but from what i read here you were kicked, not ban correct.
if this is the case please feel free to come back in to the server and ask the admin why he did what he did, but please understand and I say this with all honesty here DO NOT ask a question if you are afraid of the answer, meaning if the admin feels you may need more fly time before loading up a huey with a group of players and crashing it just off the carrier, then I would ask you take this as a helping suggestion and do so, so it will make your game play so much more enjoyable after you have done so.
but if this is not the case and you are a top notch huey pilot then please feel free to stop in our vent to speak with an admin about the issue as well, most player who stop in our vent when there is a missunderstanding can see that the intent was there and get both sides with out feeling up set becuase the admin was trying his or her best to make sure the server is enjoyable for all.

yeah thats it...the server has only been running for 3 weeks now.
I do not think in 3 weeks the server is notorious for any thing other then offering a good play to play.

The name of there server is close, but the =HOG= servers have our tag at the end of it.

The RRF server is named Virginia USA mixed: correct me if I am wrong here.

Server rules are server rules if you break a rule you get a kick if you continually break a rule you get a ban simple fix read the rules follow the rules dont be a retard. if you cant fly practice on a trainer dont fly in a "REAL" game until you can take off fly and land without killing everyone then you wont have these issues.

Sources please. Plus were RRF Mixed. We have no insurgentcy server, and the only reason we have a "Bad" rep is because of idiots without the capability to read and or understand simple instructions and rules come to our server to wreak havok and that is why we have a loose ban hammer. On our server people get what people deserve.

The only reason why then names are similar is because the Devs have stated that they'd like to see the Country/State/Providence that the server originates from.

I would like some of the HOG admins to learn how to apologize. I was recently kicked for an accidental TK while piloting the CAS Huey on the 24/7 Muttrah server. I said sorry and was not punished, yet I was kicked (resulting in the loss of the Huey)... When I came back, I asked about it and one of the admins just said "no one cares." Okay, I waited a whole round to fly the CAS and it doesn't respawn, I CARE. Don't get me wrong, the HOG Muttrah server is probably my favorite, but the admins need to lose the attitude.

Wow i could not have said it better. It is very simple. Admins are not trying to be difficult but they need to manage the game so for instance the US team does not get stuck on the carrier waiting for Choppers to respawn.

Server is technically good but admins are lacking about the asset rules. For example, last time i joined, i saw that there were 3 apcs at mec side but only 1 squad was named as "apc" which consists of only 2 people.

After that, we decided to make a second apc squad named "BTR2" but then suddenly those guys started to whine, and admins told us to disband the squad.

What goes wrong here is that people are reserving the assets for them easily, if u are 2 people and there are more than 1 apcs, u just cant own them all, this should be very simple. However, admins also supporting this owning idea. This is not a proper rule on my side.

We do try to keep the game fun and fair. And we may miss stuff. Volks, I've seen you around for what seems like years. We've definitely had our fair share of battles together and against each other. Don't think we don't want to know when a problem is arising. But, I have to ask that you at least make sure that you have our attention when you're reporting a problem. You have always been a good player and we look forward to having you on our servers in the future. Also, for everyone else, please don't hesitate to contact us at any time in our forums and on our Ventrilo, for anything.

And for those of you kicked and told to go to a training server. We do not do this as a personal attack to you. We do this the keep the game disruption to a minimum and to force you to think about reading the game Wiki and our server rules. We understand the intense feeling you may get, wanting to be a huge asset to your team by supporting them in aircraft, but we can only afford so many assets to be lost to trial and error. A practice/training server is the best place to fine tune your skill sets and return to the live servers an asset at every part of the game. Work with us on this one. The game is so much better when everyone doing a part is actually capable to do that part. All of us that fly in =HOG= have used the training servers.

I agree with you at all. Rather than rage-quiting, asking or connecting to admins via those topics are useful, i always respected your and other admins and wrote my feedback here and actually it worked

I play on this server often. Yet I feel the admins tend to power play too much and test their authority when it is not needed. I was in the cobra squad in a semi full server waiting for a partner and they threatened to kick me because I was one manning the asset. When in reality I was sitting on the carrier with a rifleman kit waiting for a partner to join. I stated this and they told me If i was going to question their god given "authority" they would kick me. This was only one of the many run ins Ive had with their little gang of generals who feel the need to ploy power at regular players. I understand it is their server, but if it is a public server I feel they should put the leash on their admins or they will never see me on there again. Between the admins hogging all of the assets and kicking anyone who makes a squad before them and ban/kick threats... overall I give it a 2 out of 5 as far as server rating goes.

@viktor I would guess its only an hour or 24 hour ban for the teamswitching.

@mk They run a really great server and what people need to understand if an admin asks you to do something you should do it, just b/c you think its un-democratic or you believe you have the right to do w/e doesnt mean you can disobey what they say, public or not, you didnt pay for the server or access to it.

if you have a problem w/ a particular admin or player im sure they will resolve it with you just present yourself in a normal (non-rage) manner and they will listen to you.

And thanks Ghost for the kind words. We try to run a server that will be enjoyable to all who are on it. In PR for people to enjoy teamwork is key. It may seem that we are harsh as admins sometimes and honestly sometimes we do make mistakes (who doesn't) but we do what we do to promote teamwork and a fun environment for mature gamers to gather around and let loose at the end of the day.
