Tango reporting in. I have played PR only few times but love it already. Finnish community is good idea and I'm supporting it. I even tried Pelitutka's server last night There could have been more people though. Maybe it should be promoted more?

It would not be a bad idea to create some page where we could meet and chat and recruit more people. I found one in Steam but maybe Pelitutka's forum could be also used. And it wouldn't hurt to be a thread at Suomi24 and some other places.

Misbehavior can be problem at any server or game. We need to kick and ban those jerks. It is not a big problem. Teamwork can be also a problem. Maybe people could also use VOIP more. I have heard about Mumble and I'm exited about it. It sounds like a really big hit, only if people use it. I hope it will be integrated in PR.

At the moment I don't have really much time to play, but I will do my best to "tetsata" at Pelitutka. My time will be even less in the near future because of childs birth.

O, Finland, behold, your day is dawning,
The threat of night has been banished away,
And the lark of morning in the brightness sings,
As though the very firmament would sing.
The powers of the night are vanquished by the morning light,
Your day is dawning, O land of birth.
O, rise, Finland, raise up high
Your head, wreathed with great memories.
O, rise, Finland, you showed to the world
That you drove away the slavery,
And that you did not bend under oppression,
Your day is dawning, O land of birth.

Tried this game at my friends place and immediately bought BF2 as I got home. Haven't really bothered with BF2 before, been playing WW2OL mostly but this seems to be all around better.

Happy independence day to all Finnish countrymen. I was supposed to play FinnWars today but I think I'll stay with PR. We should really create Finnish faction to this mod.

Iv'e had a chat whit some people about finnish peacekeepper's/ISAF forces but the thang is theres too many blufor forces to make it. Maby if there were more opfor's, we'd just need a assault rifle and maby a car+APC

Finland is clearly OPFOR, forget the yankee NATO! I can see it coming... Finland vs Norway: The Battle for Lapland...

This game sure takes loads of time to download though, been at it for 4 hours now and still haven't even finished downloading BF2, nevermind the patches and the mod. But I guess this isn't the game for impatient people, which is good except when it's me being impatient...

HAPPY 92TH INDEPENDENCE DAY PEOPLE!

Also huge thank you to every player who have started to play in our server and keep supporting us. We can play pretty normally now everyday with many many other finnish players and it gives very good feeling for the "staff" behind the server after a very long inactive period.

Check our website for information for the new players. We are glad to help new guys around (if you want)

Now when the Norwegian faction is in good progress, it wouldn't be that hard to create Finnish faction. Norwegians have the CV90 made and they or Germans have made the Leopard, if they let us to use those models we just have the small arms and reskins to do. (almost) Anyway, we wouldn't have many possible scenarios to fight. Russia vs. Finland is a classic, but that's pretty much it. Yeah, yeah there's Afganistan, but tons of Afganistan maps are already being made.

But, if Finnish faction gets started, I might actually learn to do something and contribute. :)

"Accepted" is not the correct word. They won't get a subforum if that's what you mean. They can keep on developing their faction, but within the walls of the community modding section.
by all means make a finish faction, its just unless you make them OPFOR you wont get a subform, maybe develop it on a finish forum and post your updates here? or maybe make up a fictional story to make em OPFOR.

Not yet. ;) Though we are co-operating with NATO, we are not a member.
