you be careful with that psu, one bork with that and the whole lots gone.
Save a bit more cash and upgrade your psu to cope with the demand it will be worth the wait.

ps are you buying the gear online or local? there used to be a pc shop on frankfurter strasse between mulheim and mulheim wiener platz he might be able to get you a deal otherwise its off the media markt

Somebody seems to know his way around cologne . Funny but true I rolled over frankfurter strasse just the other day to drop somebody off at mülheim Hauptbahnhof. I will check it out. I got the gear online, the first store I checked out online, snogard in Frechen, had the grafic cards 20-40 Euro more expensive than they should have been, so I found myself an online store over geizhals.de who not only had the board I wanted really cheap, but also free shipping and top rating by the community.

well if its underpowered it will be stressed and if it fails there is the possibility it will spike when it fails and that can harm your components plus its a pain in the *** to have to take it out, go buy a new one, reroute the wiring etc.

im running a phenom x4 black, 3 hdd's, gfx 9800 clocked, so i'm using a 600w psu i guess it depends on what your gonna be running extra but having ample power with decent rails will protect your investment imho.

I had a gf in Oxford shire doing layouts for a paper where she frequently had ads for britons to go shop in cologne. Totally forgot about that XD .

I just ordered a sharkoon sha550 off of ebay. Got it almost new for half the price. It seems to be a decent unit with good amperage and okay power conversion for the money and according to these guys

It can run 2 ati 5850 in crossfire mode.

So if you have a decent power supply you get to upgrade for 220-240 euros, that covers 4gigs of ram a crossfire motherboard cpu (Phenom X3) and has an onboard radeon 3200 which should be able to handle PR in low resolutions. If you want to play hefty games you can get a radeon 5850 which hopefully will cost 200 Euros by january Frebruary and a powersupply to handle it. If you really want to, you can get another 5850 when one isnt enough anymore, but by that time it should cost less than 200. So for 490 Euros you get a system that runs direct X 11 games with good settings and for 690 you have a system you can run everything on high till the end of the directX 11 cycle.

In my experience it does not pay to shell out 500 Euros extra for processing power that will not significantly impact framerate, like very fast ram or a cpu in the high range. When you had an asus p4p800 deluxe and 2 gigs of fast ram with an 3 Ghz CpU and a good GT Card you had to upgrade about the same time as the guy who bought a cheaper board a midrange CPU and slower ram.

Guess its true what they say, perfection isnt reached when you cant add no more, but when you can not leave anything out.

its so easy to get there as well, 4 hrs by eurostar - ICE/thalys from london, that why we like it. nothing better than a stroll along the rhine, pop into the chocolate museum yum and an ice cream from the ice cafe near the dom. settle in for the evening with a metre of beer in one of the bars good times!
