A reduced magazine size and increasing the number of magazines would only serve to make the gun even more deadly than it already is. The main problem using this weapon is guessing after an engagement if you have 30 bullets left or 5.

Yes, I wish there was something that would tell you the amount of ammo you have left, at least roughly, like weight, or something.

Was thinking exactly the same thing myself, never personaly used any weapon with an ammo count of more than two, can anyone with any experience advise if you can roughly tell your magazine depletion by weight or balance, especially on larger magazines?
