teamkills

Post by ***LeGeNDK1LLER*** »

every player that teamkill someone will have a long respawn when he die...
2-3 min.
i guess people finally will take care about the targets before shooting.
maybe is just a personal problem but i see a considerable number of teamkills in pr,especially in some maps.
if there is already a penalty for teamkillers is too little..

yep,and this would maybe prevents those mad drivers in a start of the round.
those who take suply trucks and drive over teammates just like madmans.
maybe if you give punish for the teamkiller,he gets longer spawntime.

Howabout when it's actually an accident? E.g. You throw a grenade into a building and someone from a different squad runs in and gets killed?

Maybe if you punish a TK then a big respawn, but not for accidental TKs

And I guess no one could run in front of you while you're firing, no one could ever possibly run in front of a moving vehicle and no driver would not check the map for mine markers?

Teamkills will happen, if they aren't accidental contact an admin.

A tk punishes the team because it will cost 1 ticket if the victim can't be revived and even if, his squad will be slowed down in its advancing, since 5 ppl have to wait untill the tk'ed member is back up.
So i don't think it's wise to further increase the disadvantage a tk is causing by having another squad being forced to wait 3 minutes for a killed member to respawn just because he accidentally shot a friendly before.

so we have to accept a noob teamkiller simply cuz is better instead to lost the tker for 3 min?
well he will be more carefull the next time he will shoot and when he will use a grenade.
best solution could be to give em a long spawn only if hes punished.
i guess this game is not bf2 when you can launch grenades near your mates because hey who care if i tk or i wound a guy...a no dumb player should be very carefull when he use
a grenade near a friendly squad.

guess is a way to force people to check the targets and to play more carefully.

p.s. i know tk will happens i've just suggested an option to decrease this events.

There are admins on servers for a reason. TKing is one of those reasons. A live human being is much more useful than simply increasing spawn timers.

So you'd rather punish the innocent?

Accidents happen, and you can't do anything about it. I rarely see an intentional teamkiller these days.

Naw, auto kick isn't effective
Apparently you can run someone over without getting punished, all you have to do is switch seats right before you hit them
I'd say keep it as it is :S 2-3min sounds intense
