What settings are you playing on?
If Textures is on High, set it to medium and give it another try.

Re: crash when clicking deploy- please help
OK i moved the whole battlefield 2 folder in my documents to the desktop and then tried it still the same problem. PR didn't even start up when i moved it so i had to go into regular bf2 and retrieve my account so it makes another folder in my documents. Anyway when i deploy on PR or join a server on bf2 its still the same

Ok, have you ran it in windowed mode to check for error at crash?
I take it vbf2 crashes on server start up too?

going in windowed mode doesn't show a error its still the same right to that desktop. Anyone got a solution that works?
EDIT: well i think the solution that will work is just a simple reinstall, i hope.

Try reinstalling bf2 or repair it, then uninstall project reality and reinstall it. It worked for me.

Try making a local server, if that works, the reason for you ctd'ing when joining an internet server is a lack of cd key, it's somehow become corrupt or whatever. Solution, reinstall BF2, repatch, reinstall PR. Or you can go googling about alternative solutions to fixing corrupt bf2 cd key's, I'm sure there's plenty of info about fixing it up in your registry

OK thanks, i think it works when i make a local server or play singleplayer. Does that mean someone has my cd key so its corrupted?[R-DEV]AncientMan wrote:Try making a local server, if that works, the reason for you ctd'ing when joining an internet server is a lack of cd key, it's somehow become corrupt or whatever.
