I suggest that the way we get ammo is changed
1. re model the ammo bag *** a clip and grenade, rifleman#1 can only resupply his small arms sqaud members
1b. rifleman#2 can re supply AT and his ammo back is just a rocket model.he carries 2 LATS and equivilent of 1 HAT
2. ammo crates and only be used to build FOB's request kits and re arm small arms.
...Will make it feel more like you are throwing a SM a clip or grenade and less like a magical ammo bag of goodies. maybe have the physical representation on the soldiers model. more teamwork as an AT soldier will need 2 stick with his rifleman.
i think rifleman should play a larger more necessary role rather that people just grabing another kit.
This will also stop people grabing a log truck and lone HAT sniping with crates.

Sadly, it is not possible for the ammo bag / crates to only reload certain kinds of ammo. It has been suggested several times already, if you do a quick search you'll find most of the infos about it

As has been said in many, many other ammo related threads, BF2 cannot distinguish between different types of infantry ammo. Either you resupply everything or nothing. ie, you can't go to a crate and resupply your AT but have to arm your rifle elsewhere.

hmmmmm i like the idea of course engine problems but
couldn't we make it kit specific not wepon? even if its not like totaly realistic it will work if it does at all

It is hardcoded. You can't give the ability to rearm only CERTAIN TYPES of ammo.
