Please remove the beta from the servers

The participating server admins were given the choice to go back to 0.874 code, or stay at 0.874D. So keep an eye on the server name to know which rules are active.

Please reconsider this decision and force all servers to remove the beta-code. I avoided all beta servers since the start (i did try it a few times ofcourse, but never liked it) but now that the beta has ended, why do you still let servers run this horrible mode.

As said before by the DEVs, 0.87 is not optimized for the removal of rally points. So why do you let servers still run the beta when it's not for testing purposes?

Maybe when it's optimized and more thought trough in 0.9, but in 0.87 it should be a no-go

why would we remove the server side patch for servers that like to use this.
we have given them permission to use this patch because we like the gameplay it creates and so does a lot of other people.
the dev team wouldn't and shouldn't force remove the patch because a lot of us quite like it, i has always been PR policy to create something that we want to play and therefore it would be against that design philosophy to remove it just because one guy that frequents the forums doesn't like it.

Personal rejection cannot be used as an argument. Just because you dislike something, doesn't automatically mean that everyone agrees with your opinion.
Sure, the changes aren't optimized, but the beta is playable and many ppl think that it's more fun to play then the original v0.87, since it demands teamwork more then ever and punishes those who cannot deal with the new requirements.

And btw there aren't really that many beta servers out there. .

People have different opinions on this, which they are entitled to. At the moment its possible to choose whether to play on a beta server or not. If you dislike the game mode, play on one of the many other servers not running the beta.

The beta is obviously popular enough to keep the servers running it populated, or the server admins would remove it. As its only a few servers running, and presumably only temporarily until a full patch/new beta is release, its not like its going to permanently fragment the community.

Teamwork is more needed. I find rally points much needed in insurgency where as they are everywhere and they can find your fob quickly. On large to medium sized maps. FOB only is great.

Guys you do know that not all servers have this BETA running. SO heres an idea. Play on a server that doesn't have it O.o If it's not a server you like tough luck. I don't want to hear about people whining when I come to the forums

Very few servers are running 0.874D. If you don't like the beta changes, don't play on the beta servers. However, the beta is almost certainly a sign of things to come in 0.9, and if you think it's so bad that it's unplayable, the future of PR may not be for you. If you want to give up on PR that's fine, but I recommend playing whatever server you feel like, beta or not, and just enjoying the game.
