[Vehicle] Chinook

For the past few weeks in college ive been modeling a Chinook, its nearly finished but I think I might have made a mistake...

How many poly's does the BF2 engine allow?
Which objects are child objects? Wheels, Ramp, Blades?

would really help, thanks Raz.

you are aware that [R-DEV] Stigger has already modeled the Chinook and is in the stages of testing it in game? Just making sure, would be a shame to spend alot of time modeling something we already have. :-?

the next best thing to a chinook, is a sea knight! make that! then the marine faction will be nearly complete since they are getting the AAV7 soon.

That would be a good replacement for the land rover, particularly for Afghan maps like Sangin. It should also be easier to balance against mines/ieds/rpgs compared to the enclosed MRAPs like the Mastiff.

I agree and it could have the same capabilities as the Chinook ingame (2 crates + 8 seats), but again may as well use the available Osprey.

Another Marine chopper to consider is the Huey Venom (UH-1Y), to replace the Twin Huey in PR.

There's also the option of replacing various vanilla BF2 models for the sake of higher quality. Or contacting a community faction lead and asking them what they need.
