oral issue with reporting hostiles

Post by Snicp »

whats up guys? so i'v been playing project reality for a while and i never really asked anyone
about it or found any guide or explanation of it since its not exactly a technical help about
the game, but its communicational.
basically i want someone to fully explain how does the "hostile armor spotted bravo 6 kp5" works, i just gave an example, ok so far i know that the map is made out of numbers and letters
A for Alpha B for Bravo C for Charlie, the rest i dont really know and the number is the horisontal
direction, now the thing that comes after.. the K P and the other random letters and numbers i just
dont get it i cant see any other numbers that are on the map or any special coordinates
so if some one can help me with that i will appriciate a fully explained guide about how do you understand and find those coordinates
thank you :)
Snicp
edit:
i hope i posted in the right forum since i dont know if it really
belongs here since its not exactly tech support but just support

Np refers to 'Number Pad'.

Look at the number pad on your keyboard (assumming you have one).

The Np value represents the small squars because there are 9 in there.

The top 3 squares of any given grid will be 7,8 and 9 (from left to right) and the bottom three squares 1, 2 and 3.

I don't know what key pad is either.

Every map is divided into 8x8 grid with columns named A to H and rows numbred 1 to 8. So B6 referers to intersection of second column and sixth row on your map.

Keypad, kp, numpad or similar suffix referres to 3x3 subgrid inside said map grid. Offical numbering of the subgrid is shown at A1, e.g. top left corner of the map.

Here is visual representation of the grid system. Its printed on every map in the game:

Code: Select all

        A B C D E F G H
