ye rgr what I thought with the thins, you can save a few tris by collapsing the top edges on them and still making them look more or less the same :)

on the left is what you have more or less, on the right is with the top edges collapsed saving 4 tris per thin (if not more depending on the thin's shape etc) :)

Also can you get me a edged face shot looking up its rear end so to speak of the missile please?

EDIT: you can also save a few tris here by welding these verts onto the front or back since they are not needed, like so :)

perhaps you have multiply vertices in centеr, if it is you should weld these vertices

Also I prefer to help people over the forums rather than xfire since then others can learn from it which saves me from having to tell people the same stuff over and over again :p

Ok UVs and texture done!

Can't say your UVs look very good, lots of overlapping of not the same parts, main UVs dont look to scale etc. For a long and thin thing for a missile its normally much better to UV it to a sheet that is a 1:2 scale one, ie, 128x256px sheet for example.

For my RPG-7 Tandem warhead you can see how this greatly increases my flexibility in the UVs.

I would also recommend you watch this tut here, says its about Texturing but the first part is about UVing and its the best UVing tut I know of, aint tried the texturing part myself but might be worth you doing that too.
