Great server!

If you like to get kicked when your cobra pilot is shot down because he didnt listen and flew right into muttrah. I told him to land on carrier and leave the squad, but he was pissed and flew into AA and I as a gunner got kicked.

One of the best servers out there. Great teamwork (most of the time), low ping (at least mine is), admins and clan members respond to all reported issues.

Had a great "duel" with Zippo yesterday on Fallujah - the server was almost empty and we slugged it out mano-a-mano. Thanks for the fun!

OT: Thanks for the awesome flying. There was one particular extraction that gave me goosebumps. Terry chased us but thanks to the Huey which swooped in insanely low and fast we made it ......

To make this post legit: IMHO the piloting skills displayed on the UKWF server are way above average.

My opinion on the server, well intially I found it very good, very good games and tatics and friendly enviroment which caused me to join the clan also for the reserve spot as well lol, but as time went on incidents were becomming more frequent of players and admins abusing there roles on the server. One such incident was on muttrah when the last flag was in play my squad wsa on fort I think pwning the MEC then the flag didnt go instead they capped the other flag back, at this point as you no if you have been in the fort its very difficult to get down form there once your up, never the less ukwf admins were on the MEC side and starting flamming saying we best get down or were getting banned, this is what we were doing but they wernt intrested.

On many occations I witnessed side swapping in diffrent rounds so that ukwf players could whore assets, and then they would have the cheek to flame at public players for doing so, As I found out on barracuda from none other shavid, this came about when we reported a player for stealing assets and then we got told we were going to get banned if we swapped sides to take assets (this is after i left the clan due to an altercation with shavid) however the accusation was unfounded. I cant say we never took assets we did but we never swapped sides to do so and never stole assets and we were always happy to play inf.

In terms of the complaints procidure I am still waiting for a reply I think 5-6 months on for a complaint I made, still no response.

In summary ther are good points to the server , good map rotation can be a good game when the admins are in a good mood and can be a fair game but as more and more ukwf players play on the server at the same time the more confrontation is likely off them due to you mite not be doing what they want you to do (tatics not breaking the rules), this is a server for the friends of UKWF rather than joe bloggs which is ashame as it was a very good server when I first played, and it seems that I have just echoed the thoughts of many ppl who have posted on here.

Only think I may criticize is the reserved 2 slot. Do you really need that?

Dom i replied to you about your complaint via pm several months ago and to be honest i'm suprised that you feel the need to have a dig about something that is in your own words 5-6 months old.
I haven't seen you on the server in months so i really dont know where this is coming from apart from maybe bearing an old grudge.
As far as the swapping teams to claim assets goes i can state quite categorically that this does not happen, it may have happened in the past with some newer members but it just doesn't happen anymore.
As far as you and shavid are concerned there was a difference of opinion and harsh words were used on both sides and as i said in my pm to you i think it's best to just chalk it down to experience and move on. I also will not go into the many complaints we had against you and kabro and co. Remember a conversation we had in vent when you made an early cobra squad on muttrah and i pulled you up about it and you replied "so what its only a second or two"just so you realise there are always two sides to an argument.
Finally "joe bloggs" and anyone else is our friend provided they stick to the rules and play the mod in the spirit in which it was intended.
Our server is very popular ever thought why? dont bother i'll answer that for you. It's because of the way we run it not inspite of as you seem to think.

Thanks alberto, glad you enjoy your time with us and to answer your question. Yes we feel that the reserve slots offer us the best way to be able to get on our server without having to go through the pain of kicking people, we did try it without the slots but we became inundated with cries of "wtf admin why was i kicked?" which really became a nuisance to us and so we adopted the reserve slots.

I dont have an old grudge life to short for that as for the PM yes I remember that, but a person that has admin rights threatens to hit someone is a bit out of orderand to say lets just leave it dosent really resolve the matter but ill let it settle. but like I said back then bring it on lmao, this isnt a grudge I dont play on PR that much now hopefully will do when .9 is out. In terms of your server I agree its popluated because its a good game I dont dispute that but you have to look at both sides many of the complaints on this forum are about the way admins handle situations on your server.

As for the muttrah thing it wasnt muttrah it was kashan and the server was not even half full admittadly its still not allowed I was warned and didnt do it again, In terms of complaint against me kabro and co as you put it I dnt think I have ever read a complaint about me in your UKWF forums I have about kabro but that was resolved with no action if I remeber correctly because it was unfounded, and I would like to address the complaints thing if there were so many why wernt we warned, kicked or banned never on this server has this happened other than for ukwf members to join.

I would agree that your server is popular as you can see from the amount of players on at any one time this is undisputed and my opinions are several months old as I dnt think I have played since sep last year and things may have changed, however I mite have done silly things in the past, you cant argue that the complaints about your server are to do with admins that is my main grief when I played many incidents were to do with admins they way they spoke to ppl and the way they dealt with them. As stated my opinions are several months old and things may have changed I dont know.

Glad you like the server, regarding the auto deploy, i can't help you getting in the server quicker, however in terms of battlerecorder I've re-enabled it so you should be able to access the last 3 games demo's if you where present when the round ended, or you can see them at prdemo.ukwarfare.co.uk

Ok your 5 hours behind the UK yes?

The server is active from 11am - as late as we can go GMT, so anytime from 6am - about 8pm yourtime it would be, about 2-4pm your time is the most active when it comes to UKWF members. Hope this helps.
