Excited about v0.9?!

First of all, I'd like to introduce myself as I am a new member and player to Project Reality. My name is Josh and my in-game name is HeCtiiC4.

I was reading the forums and I heard some talk about the new version that's being worked on (v0.9). I might have just heard stuff, but correct me if I am wrong. Furthermore, I did have some questions regarding 0.9, mainly original questions:

1) When will the 0.9 patch be released?
2) Will all the new released features be in mod 0.9? (stupid question, but still; I like to be sure).
3) What are the main topics the mod developers are working on?

I'm very excited if this is true and I also heard the developers are making a game that sounds pretty kick ***. I hope to buy that when it comes out.

Patience, young one. I'm sure that given how lively mod PR is, v.9 will probably be released reasonably soon.

There aren't many original questions left on these forums, considering there's over 60,000 threads and almost 1.1 million posts.

1) When will the 0.9 patch be released?

The DEVs never inform us of the date until just before-hand, so all we can do is roughly estimate based on history.

2) Will all the new released features be in mod 0.9?.

Do you mean new released as in announced? If so, most of it probably.

3) What are the main topics the mod developers are working on?

Soon.

"Soon" does not imply any particular date, time, decade, century, or millennia in the past, present, and certainly not the future. "Soon" will arrive some day. The DEVs can't guarantee that "soon" will be here before the end of time. Maybe. Do not make plans based on "soon" as the DEVs will not be liable for any misuse, use, or even casual glancing at "soon."

Eventually 0.9 will be coming Very Soon.

Very Soon is guaranteed to arrive between now and the end of time with a higher chance of arriving on the "now" half of the time table. Although this means closer to now than "soon" there is no guarantee that you will live long enough to see the content finally release.

Housing is not particularly a necessity tbh. I live in a cardboard box in the lobby of a hotel with the hotel computer.

By looking at the history I approximate that it takes ~4-5 months for a new release to be released.

So history is doomed to repeat itself, therefore, meaning that PR .9 will be out Jan~Feb time frame.

usually theyll post links to a picture or something on irc a day or early =D


they may talk about stuff with the other devs about what needs diffrences and stuff... but they only talk about stuff there telling on the forums and stuff soon, or stuff that the general public already knows about
