Buying new PC. Have a small question.

Post by Valtasar »

CPU - intel E8500 Core 2 Duo 3.16Ghz 1333FSB/6MB LGA775

Motherboard - 4xDualDDRII800/PCI-E/ RAID 0,1,0+1,5 JBOD/8-ch HD sound Vista Ready

RAM - 4GB DDR2 PC-8500

HDD - 1TB 7200rpm SATA II 32MB

VIDEO - Nvidia GeForce 9800GTX 512MB

Operating System - Win 7 64bit Ultimate
What means Vista Ready motherboard? That motherboard only can run under vista or what?
Sorry for my English

Vista really means nothing, it will run under almost any modern OS you throw at it (Including XP and Windows 7)

Are you buying this computer Pre-built or are you putting it together for yourself?

Vista Ready really means nothing as ToFurkey said, its just a pitch for the seller to make more money somehow.
