it would be cool if helo gunners could laze targets for them selfs (like the cas huey). that way you can keep on the move with out having to hover. you can still us your guided one's for moving targets.

Rampo, it isn't fire and forget at all. You have to keep an eye on the missile the ENTIRE TIME, because sometime between the time you get the lase to stay on target and you fire the missile, it's bound to missrampo93(FIN) wrote:But they can? did i get the post correctly? qsmith, you can do that, but it isn't accurate and it rarely is accurate enough to use for anything but an area target.

PR should look more at CA. In CA you click ones where you want your hellfire to go. Same system as vbf2 has with the tv guided missiles, only in CA the camera doesn't follow the missile.
This means that gunners only need to point and click on the target and the missile will do the rest. As it is irl.
Of course when its a moving target you need to adjust the location the missile will go each time.

Well its a good system, assuming you cant always aim, but laser have to be rework too, they never go where you want it, and they are so slow... making it ineffective.
So a combinaison of all system.... might give something awesome

yeah and its not overpowered at all since there is a hold down click delayThis means that gunners only need to point and click on the target and the missile will do the rest. As it is irl.

ignoring all the other stuff in CA, tanks jets etc, I do think the attack choppers are perfect as they are in CA for PR.

Your day will suck if you run into AA in CA... even if you dump flares.Celestial1 wrote:(Flares/AA included!)

Flares don't attract missiles in CA they only make them explode.

Well the flares are used to distract the flares so they either follow the flares or they explode where the flares are whereas the aircraft is in a safe place.

Technically they do "distract" the missile although no like BF2 style that magnetically drags the missile away lol. The CA flares block the heat signature of the aircraft and make the missile lose lock. And they make them explode lol.Mora wrote:Flares don't attract missiles in CA they only make them explode.
