Lowest possible with 50 draw distance. My average frame rate with that is about 25 I think.

I had played BF2 all max, 8x AA, 1280x1024(still 19" screen), but PR is really heavy on memory, I had occasional crashes on game and always crash during map change.
I coped with that until one time I had perfect sniper headshot place... Then crash. That did it for me and I lowered the settings.
I had to lower some to medium, and some even to low (Felt so weird to put settings to low
).
HD5870 (512mb), 2Gb OCZ RAM, C2D E8400

Wow running on high with on board graphics. I guess OBG have come a long way.Cassius wrote:Just in time for my upgrade. My system went boom and I got a new mainboard with onboard radeon 3200 hd a cpu and 4 gigs of ram for 225 Euro and I can play most maps on high.
I havent tried setting textures to medium yet, to see if it helps on fools road or ramiel.
I might get a radeon 5850 later on, then everything will be on high and the grafic board laughing at it.
I am also wanting/waiting for a 5850. The 3 monitor support is pretty cool.
Edit: Oh yeah All High, 1920x1080, 2X AA, Steady 102 FPS
Textures on Medium to prevent Polished Gold Sandbags bug depending on AA.
What is the definitive advice on setting graphichs levels to 4 in note pad?

Are you sure it's not a 4870? I don't think they make the 5870 with 512MB of VRAM...Tuppe wrote:HD5870 (512mb), 2Gb OCZ RAM, C2D E8400

Re: [New for 2010!] Which level of graphics settings do you play?
had to use medium in previous versions because of corrupted graphics and crashes... after 1.5 patch (if i'm right) everything seems fine on high. (proper support of 4gb ram or whatever)

As low as you can go. about zero lag due to graphical nambly-pambly, and as an added bonus occasionally am granted odd moments where I can see through walls! (not deliberate, mind you

Dude, it's time to upgrade or get a new computer, CaptainGasper
I also had a shitty computer (laptop) until this summer when I bought myself a new stationary one. Running all maxed out at 100fps, 50-69 in the cities.
