Hey, its just and idea for a faction. I don't really know much about the IRA but the devs wouldnt really have to make them completely realistic. just an idea...

Yeah, they could face the British in an Insurgency-like gamemode. 
Although considering most of the fighting between the British Army and the IRA ended years ago, I don't think it would be too realistic.
