In-Game Soldier Sounds

Post by drs79 »

I looked around in the already suggested suggestions and didn't see anything in regards to it.

If there is a need in future PR releases to do an update of in game soldier in-game voices (I Need a medic, over here! etc) I am willing to lend my voice, and or help out in creating new dialogue to be added.

Thats a lot of work considering the medic call does the exact same job, also you'd have to do it for MEC/ins/taliban, Russians/Chechen, Hebrew, Brittish, USarmy/USMC...

Thing is mate, that you require high quality sound recording equipment, like a studio.

The aussie team organised everything required afaik using R-DEV tonnie and a band of fans, thats the kind of organisation required

At the very least can we replace those damn crying/yelping/screaming sounds when your bleeding out. Change it to heavy breathing and maybe some light groaning. They way they are now, it sounds like you're a wounded puppy, calling out to it's mother.

I find it rather amusing that despite there being so many US players, that any community driven US voice replacement project hasn`t been made yet.. :p

How about getting the US Marines to call out for a corpsman, not a medic? I definately know we don't use medics, just Navy corpsman.

this would be intereting and great if someone pulled this off but it is definitely not necessary

maybe during the black and white phase, the coughing sound could be instead "the sound of coughing/choking on blood"

Ahh, good point on the studio part, I had not thought of that. But if there is a need for dialogue to be written I would be more than happy to do so for US, and GB.
