Can you retrive commander couldown Marker?

Has a usually commander, i use mutiple markers to deploy a Complex estrategy,

waypoint i place alot of then,

And yes in my server atlast on the night, commander works, and give the cenario a make the game very tough.

To my the commander Issues is to Keep all team working like One Army, and for that atacking whicht mutiply squad from mutiply sides is exetial for any decent assault,

i Also use a combined squad to make the more front line work.

so keeping all the plan ease to read in the map, requires ALOT of markers,

you can YES remove all commander voices about adding checkpoints markers. that's of course. i also recomend uses some new commands for commander has well.

Markers of spawed units, well i cannot say if this is need, i have don't used to much, but i has some delay to putting the spawn positions some times. so i also recommend to remove all delay, so long commanders take their job sirius, and keep writing insteand of talking in voip, and not alowing little markers for nothing all will works.

Besides thancks to UAV suport DEV, this really helps commander lead a front line atack.

if i understand you correctly, the marker delay is a hardcoded setting introduced in 1.5 by dice to fix some exploit/glitch thing.
