[Officers] Place-Object Ghost

I get a bit annoyed trying to figure out where the assets as an Officer are going to be.

I want to make a small neatly done forward outpost but it comes out messy.

Could there be some ghosting thing? If you left/right click on a build asset it comes up ghosted, and you left/right click on the radial menu's asset to build that.

You should be able to cancel the ghosting by switching weapons. :)

Try the Squadleader markers and step 5 meters away from it before placing the asset, has helped me alot.

I don't think you have the right idea of what I'm talking about.

Say you're playing Empires (steam Half-Life 2 modification), and you want to make a wall. You click the Wall icon (or in our case the radial 'Build Wire Fence thing' wall) and a ghost of that wall shows up. You can place it neatly and stuff.

Whereas currently you have to guess where the asset will be placed, and it can't be removed either :cuss:

players would easily be able to glitch buildings into unintended positions. this has been done in the sandbox mod. but it's not going to happen in PR. use the 5 meter rule.

this has been ellaborated on before in other thread so will lock.

nothing we can do to simplify this without opening up for easy glitches into buildings or glitching the assets into unintended heights etc.
