Punkbusted for Program/Driver...

I have some difficulty playing on certain Project Reality servers. Most of the time I am kicked by punkbuster for: "Disallowing Program / Driver". I have no idea what it means, and I have the latest patchs, levels, and so forth.

My Operating system is:

Windows 7 - 64 bit
Intel Cor 2 Quad CPU Q9550 @ 2.83 GHz


Another fact is:
1. I don't play it with the BF2 CD in the driver.
2. I run the game off Steam, adding a non steam game.
3. I have the lateset video drivers
4. when i played on vista i did not have this problem
5. could the problem be with punk buster?
6. Is the mod not fully compatible for Windows 7?
- I will try the compatability function for the game, changing it to Win XP or Vista and making admin...but I may have done so already.

I am getting the same problem. It just started today, and I've been playing PR on this PC/OS (Vista 32) for about 9 months now and I can also run the game in and out of Steam. I tried updating my drivers but they are all up to date.

nope, i always close out all background programs when i'm playing. and firewalls are also turned off.
