I suggested Insurgency with Chechen's (militia in those days) two years ago, good to see it finally appear :)

This sure looks great fellows! You are an amazing team, and I say; without you BF2 would not have been on my computer the last three - four years.
H[=ElvishKnight;1238924']Well they got their fob tow missles that'l wrech havok on any landing forces if they put em near the shoreline.
Right, looks ok in theory, but I have my doubts that this will work out. Maybe on pubs this will work out somehow, but in organized matches, this will get china a really hard time. Well it is just a thought and I don't want to judge it before playing.

IMO Qwai is one of the best maps in PR, so at least I am glad it survived. :)

Looks good. Too many IDF maps though. Particularly disappointing to see MEC taken off Asad.

MEC seem to be being written out of the game. Which is a huge shame, as they're easily the coolest faction owing to their battlerifleness. Edit: Same with PLA - only 3 maps for each now compared to 5 for Russia. Even the Chechans now have more maps than these staples of PR at 4.

The US now sits comfortably on 10 maps.

I can't understand taking OGT and stuff out. PLA are losing all of their maps, despite being a great faction that has no major problems. Additionally the mod's popularity is growing in China, so it's a shame to lose so many of the maps featuring their home country. Food for thought over the next few versions eh :\

Yeah, why should a brand new faction that took over a year to complete get 3 maps. Shocking!

People who whine about "unrealistic scenarios" can start their own server with nothing but Afghan/Iraqi maps on the maplist. I don't think PR have ever been about realistic map-scenarios, but realistic gameplay. I'm still having problem with Brits vs. Chechens, though.

I like it all! See very much focus on Russia for this release. Which is nice since they really deserve it! Yamalia, Beirut, Iron Ridge and Silent Eagle look so awesome.

Asad was always meant for IDF vs Hamas. GB vs MEC were just there as a placeholder.
