Menu not responding

Post by Sid 6.7 »

I've recently downloaded this mod & its the latest version (I think) .874. I was having issues with the videos at the beginning, kept freezing. So I disabled those...now I can log in np but when I get to the next menu that I would assume it would list the servers nothing comes up & the menu buttons I can't click on at all.

If you need more input let me know.

What did you do to disable the videos? Because the correct way to skip them is to add "+restart" option to your PR short cut's command line.

I changed the name of the files, the ones I changed were: bss_intro.bik and pr_intro.bik in the pr/movie/directory. If you have to have the game running in order to get to the command line I couldn't even get to that b/c of the intro movies freezing.

But I don't think the menu would mess up with disabling the intro vids. though.

I had the menu seize up once but it stopped happening after I restarted PR.
I think clueless_noob is referring to the path of the shortcut on your desktop. If you right-click on the PR shortcut, and select "Properties," you will see a target file and a starting location. Add the aforementioned text to these lines.

Yes, that's correct. The +restart should be added to "target" text of the shortcut.
