As long as we are talking about radio procedure, "Priyom" means "Over".
wiki: Over — I have finished talking and I am listening for your reply. Short for "Over to you."

Yeah "priyom" literally means "receiving" or "listening to response". So in american its just "over". "Konets sviazi" is "over and out", or end of transmission.

Wouldn't it be only "out" then, since "over" means "i have finished talking and I am awaiting your reply" and "out" means "i have finished talking to you and do not expect a reply"? Just sayin' :p

D:

You never say Over and out, over and out means I've finished talking and I want a reply, and i've finished talking but don't want a reply :p
So Konets Sviazi will mean Out.

What about that funny word shashka. Looked it up and I guess the word has two different meanings. One is obliviously the smoke grenade, but the other is about some Cossack saber. So I rather my soldier throw sabers next time I scream Shashka!!

Great, now all we need to do is figure out how to say it in Arabic so when the civilian puts his hands up he can scream that.
