Combo problem: Pnkbuster and CD key..

Post by Fearpiak »

I have looked upon the internet the PR Forums and finnally i made PR work online. I started up a server and after a year it finnaly worked. In that server there were online oriental people so i couldnt hear a word the were saying so i switched to another server.

Now the problems begon. Next server, CDKEY INVALID. I have spen hours of regedit. when that worked punkbuster failed. Put that right again, and now its says invalid CDKEY.

What did i do wrong here? It worked, and when iswitched servers it failed.

THere wasnt a single problem similar to mine so plzz does anyone has a clue whats messed up?

When looking for answers please follow these simple steps.

#1 : Read the red stickys First.
New PR problems are rare so most answers can be found here.
The #3 sticky is:
Troubleshooting Guide: Your CD-key is not valid should cover how to fix it.

#2. Use the search feature on PRs web site or GOOGLE IT!. Often the quickest way to find what your looking for when you have an error message.

#3. You have spent some time trying to help yourself, but your ready to ask for help:
Please remember to include your basic PC info in your post :
Operating system = XP, Vista etc.
systems specks = cpu/speed, ram installed, video card/video ram on card
network setup = cable, 4 port 10/100/1000 d- link gamers lounge/ wired connection.
And a brief history before and after problem started.
Please describe when your CTD or problem hits and
what you have already tried.

The more info you can give the better your chance of getting a quick answer back. You don't have to write a book, but your basic PC info is needed to help you.

Good luck
